The 13th USP Winter College Tennis Showcase was a tremendous success. Over 150 junior players participated with the hope to be recruited by the more than 100 College Coaches that for three days watched them play in Sunrise Tennis Club. We will like to mention some of the players that were recruited out of this event:

 When we were looking for a 2017 Showcase Player to become the cover of the 2018 Showcase Official Poster, it was a no-brainer. Every year we get to meet wonderful kids with incredible stories and Alana's was one of those that stick to you for a long time.

Alana Sherman from Florida had to stop playing tennis for a couple of years since she was recovering from injuries after a car accident. When she registered for the Showcase last year, there were no records that could show her current level, no UTR, no USTA Ranking, nothing. 

But once she stepped on the court, it was clear, Alana could definitely play. She got the attention of many coaches during both days of the Showcase. In Adition, she had a tremendous personality and a very professional attitude. 

The result: Alana is now a Junior at Louisiana Tech University, recruited by Coach Amanda Stone who participated last year and hopefully will attend this year's Showcase.

But she's only one of many success stories, is very hard to keep track of every student but here is a list of some of the players that were effectively recruited at the 2017 USP College Tennis Winter Showcase:
